We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Account Manager to manage our Go-to-Market activities in Japan. This role is unique in its scope, encompassing Marketing, Sales and Customer Success. The primary focus, however, will be on driving user growth through sales activities. The ideal candidate will exhibit qualities of both acquiring and growing a book of customers, owning the entire sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The primary focus, however, will be on driving user growth through sales activities. The ideal candidate will exhibit qualities of both acquiring and growing a book of customers, owning the entire sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and expand a territory with a focus on balancing new customer acquisition with nurturing existing accounts.
- Own the entire sales process from beginning to end, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, value proposition presentation, solution demonstration, negotiation, and closing.
- Conduct cold calls and reach out to new teams at existing customers to explain the value proposition, demonstrate solutions, and convert prospects into loyal customers.
- Receive guidance and support from leadership but exercise independent thinking and initiative to achieve sales goals.
- Run account forensics to enable a data-driven sales approach, customized to the individual customer.
- Execute strategic sales plays tailored to specific customer profiles.
- Follow up on leads and inbound requests in your territory and maximize conversion rate of trials (e.g. adjust email sequences and messaging).
- Localize and run marketing campaigns – with support from our central team.
- Enable post-deal product adoption (e.g. trainings) supported by a central enablement team
- Monitor customer health, detect and prevent churn.
