The DACH sales team is a critical component of our go-to-market strategy and presents an outstanding opportunity to work in our largest region with our largest customers across a broad range of industries.
About the role:
As the Team lead Sales DACH you will be responsible for expanding and leading a strong high performing account management team, to achieve and exceed sales targets within the DACH region. Your team will drive revenue growth via an up and cross sell motion i.e., seat expansion and multi product adoption.
Key responsibilities of the role will include hiring and developing a team of 6 account managers, developing strategic sales plays, and foster strong relationships with key customers.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience as a sales professional with a proven track record in the B2B software industry, exceptional leadership and people skills, and the ability to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the DACH Account Management team (5-7 direct reports) to maximize performance and productivity, fostering a culture of high achievement.
- Manage and expand regional territories, focusing on nurturing existing accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets and drive market expansion.
- Set, monitor, and track team and individual performance targets using sales metrics, KPIs, and financial data.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee contract negotiations and execution, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and customer enablement teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Optimize sales processes using CRM systems for effective pipeline management and reporting.
- Conduct account forensics to enable a data-driven, customized sales approach.
- Design and implement sales training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, progress towards targets, and market trends to senior management.
- Respond to changing business needs and market conditions with agility and strategic adjustments.
- Support post-deal product adoption through training and enablement efforts.
- Monitor customer health to detect and prevent churn.
